Hotel Neighbors is temporarily on hiatus

Whew, it seems like I've been running a virtual b&b these past two weeks. I've had so many visitors these past two weeks and it's been fantastic to see everyone, including:

• Katiekat, who came out from the conservative heartland to celebrate spring break


• Manong, who emerged from the Bat Cave (where he works for The Man)


• Neighborsman, from London via the Magical Mystery Tour Bus


• Chongstein, from DC via the River Nile and DeBeers Diamond Mines


• Coriannus, from Sunny San Diego by way of Boston, Dallas, Chicago, and several other places on her two week marketing tour

Last week, I sang in two separate Karaoke nights, and tried several new songs, some of which I will never attempt again, including INXS Need You Tonight, Abba's Mamma Mia, Fergie's Fergalicious (easy to sing because it's really more of a rap)...

I've also seen more of museums in about two-three weeks than normal. With at least three separate visits to different parts of the MoMA, and to the MET (highly recommend the Barcelona exhibit).

I've also criss crossed Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn a lot more often -- thank goodness for the unlimited pass. With KatieKat, we took a ferry, bus, and the 1, R, F, V, 7, E, 6 and, a new one for me, the Q train.
