how do i lift this curse?

How do I explain this string of rotten luck -- 3 weekends in a row where I've had problems with getting from one city to another via plane. I headed south this past weekend for my Grandma's 90th birthday celebration (which was a great success) -- and yet, both going there and coming back, I got stuck on planes that were massively delayed to the point that I missed my connections and had to stay in Dallas in motels! Both ways. What are the odds?
