Dad coming back from Burma
Whew -- my dad should be out of Burma, aka, Myanmar, by the end of the week. I'm really proud of what he's been doing in that country, but I will be relieved when he is safely back home. The fact that his neighbors are being hauled out of their homes by the military for dissenting with the government just gives me great chills.

Whew. Thank God your dad is coming back soon. Yes, it truly is remarakable that he continued to work there in such hectic and dangerous times. Seeing the stuff on TV reminds me of Tiananmen Square. Unfortunately, as in China, I think the protestors, while corageous, are facing daunting odds. Let's hope things change for the better over there.
