So over a week ago, I was on my way to a friend's birthday party when I get this text message from this guy that I went on a date half a year ago. I deleted his name from my phone book a while ago, particularly since I thought it was odd when he tried to call me on Xmas Day. Anyway, he was inviting me to a fashion show and after party -- which sounded slightly odd. I declined. The next day, I'm chatting with Blondie Brunonian and it turns out, she got the same invite too! And like me, she wasn't totally sure who it was. He texts her back, saying that he's a "friend" of mine! Uh, I don't think so. Smooth, real smooth.
