first snow

Our first snowstorm was wimpy, even the second one was just a coating, at least in my neighborhood. I love how magical the city looks when it snows...until it gets all slushy and dirty. But this minor white dust is ok with me because I don't want anything stopping me from my trip. At least I can be smug in the knowledge that I'm going to the land of Aloha and it'll be sunny and 81 degrees! Whoo hoo! I'll try and mobile blog from there.
